Adobe
Photoshop is one of the most popular graphic design programs. Photoshop can be
used to manipulate photos, create web sites, and enhance images. We have trained many companies and
individuals from a variety of industries to use Photoshop.
We offer a
two day
class that will teach you the
essentials of Photoshop.
The course is intended for a diverse audience including, but not limited to,
computer-savvy professionals who want to create and enhance graphics for
marketing materials, newsletters, blog's, and web sites; photographers who want to
work with and prepare photos for print or web; students with an interest in
graphic design or those with novice design skills; and professionals who want to
learn and use Photoshop as a complement to other programs, such as Illustrator,
InDesign or Dreamweaver.
Students will learn:
-
To get acclimated
with the Photoshop interface so they can understand how to find the tools
and panels that they need.
-
What type of
images you can manipulate inside of Photoshop and the difference in the
quality of their images and how that can affect their output.
-
How to isolate
the portions of an image you want to manipulate. Selections are essential in
any project.
-
How to change
images from color to grayscale and explain the difference between RGB color
and CMYK and how they affect color on the screen and print.
-
How layers will
change the way you work inside of Photoshop. Layers will make their
Photoshop projects more flexible and expand what’s possible inside of
Photoshop.
-
How to apply
color to images and how to use the Photoshop painting tools to change the
color of an object in an image.
-
How to save
images for different media and which file types are the best to use.
