Our course covers all topics on both of the exams needed to pass A+. To become A+ certified, you must pass 2 exams; One is the Essentials(220-701) and the other is the Practical application(220-702).   • Understanding computer networks and what are the different protocols in use.

  • Understanding and configuring an IP address. How determine what IP address to use.

  • How setup a peer to peer network with Windows Vista and XP. Including file and printer sharing.

  • How to setup and secure a wireless network.

  • Understanding basic computer security concepts. Steps to securing windows from viruses, Trojans, worms, and spyware.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing laptops. Including replacing hard drives, memory, disk drives, screens, keyboards, and motherboards.

  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing printers. Including scanners and a variety of printers such as lasers and inkjet's.
